In Ephesians 4:11-16 we not only learn the names of each of the Five Fold offices, we also learn, what the purpose of the Five Fold ministry is. However, these are not the only ministry callings that the scriptures tell us about. The different gifts and callings on our lives are not intended to serve our own purposes, rather to serve the Lord God’s purposes. They are given to assist in the labor or work that God has called and appointed each of us to do.
