The law, given by God to Moses, for His people was a list of rules, regulations and guidelines that were given for them to follow. The Ten Commandments are the cornerstone of the law. By God’s grace we are no longer under the law but under grace. Yet, grace does not relax the standard of the law or give us an opportunity to live a compromised Christian life, it gives us the ability to live by God’s law in our hearts. When we break the law, we have the ability to be forgiven and restored. The standard of the law has never been abolished or put to an end.
